You are dumb… what you just said is an oxymoron. If there were no updates from iPod to iPod, there wouldn’t be any newer generations. The update is both in physical design and in the software, therefore it is a new iPod, and therefore, the next generation shuffle.

In any case, this definitely isn’t fourth-generation. It’s third, with a firmware update.
